No stopping Alex Rossi in Long Beach

Alexander Rossi capped his flawless and sunny week in California with a race win in the second round of the Verizon IndyCar Series at Long Beach.

The former Marussia F1 driver and 2016 Indy 500 winner led from pole position and applied his dominant form to hold off a late challenge from Penske's Will Power to collect his third IndyCar career win.

The Andretti-Autosport-Honda driver now leads the series' overall standings from Josef Newgarden and Graham Rahal.
