If the large number of readers that took part in our F1i Poll is anything to go by, we're heading into an F1 season that will be popular with the fans.

Despite the team's various interpretations of this season's aero regulations, the styling of the 2019 field has been impressive.

However, when it came time to cast your vote, one team's design took the lead from the outset and never looked back: McLaren!

The Woking-based outfit's papaya and vega blue MCL34 collected over 20 percent of your votes. A result that was hardly surprising given the fans' positive reaction to the McLaren's livery at its launch last week.

Let's hope the MCL34, with Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris at the wheel, gets a few accolades for its on-track performance.

The battle for runner-up saw a close fight between Ferrari's new matte red SF90 and Haas' elegant black and gold VF-19.

You gave your preference to the Scuderia however whose SF90's speed is so far living up to its aesthetics.

Racing Point's livery garnered many votes in the past when the team was Force India, but only a very small minority of you still think its RP19 is pretty in pink.

So here it is, the people's choice and the final tally. Thanks for taking part and casting your vote!

McLaren 20%
Haas 16%
Ferrari 15%
Mercedes 14%
Alfa Romeo 13%
Red Bull 9%
Renault 7%
Williams 3%
Toro Rosso 2%
Racing Point 1%
