Robert Kubica won't rule out a departure from Williams at the end of the current season, adding to the comments made last weekend by Polish sponsor Orlen.
Kubica's miraculous return to Formula 1 with after an eight-year absence following his career-threatening rally crash in 2011 has been a difficult affair.
While the 34-year-old's efforts have been undermined by Williams dismal form, the Pole has also been comprehensively outpaced at every single race this season by his team mate, 21-year-old rookie George Russell.
Kubica's sponsor, who helped him secure his come-back driver with Williams, said that "everything was on the table" with regard to the driver's future.
"What will happen to me next year does not depend only on me," Kubica said, adding to the speculation.
"We will see what opportunities appear and what I want to do. I do not see any question marks, but there may be some compromises if it is not possible to bring the expected performance.
"I am not saying that this is the case now, but this situation may happen."
In the interim, the 2008 Canadian GP winner will take it one race at a time, insisting the season is still young.
"At this point, I’m not focused on the future," he added.
"I have lived my life, some things I’ve done better, some things worse, but it’s not like I’m not going to go on.
"It’s too early in the season to say more except that not everything depends on me."
