Future action hero Hamilton undergoes firearm training!

Lewis Hamilton may be preparing for his next big thing: a career on the silver screen as an intrepid sharp-shooting action hero!

In the past, Hamilton has never denied his interest in acting, a natural extension of his passion for music and show business in general.

However, any on-camera endeavor for the six-time world champion will likely follow his adrenaline-fueled quest for action based on a short video he posted on his Instagram account.

In the clip below, Hamilton is seen training at a shooting range, hitting his targets, reloading and shooting again faster than an F1 qualifying hot lap.

"Excited to show you something I’ve started working on," wrote the Mercedes driver.

"I’ve always loved action movies and dreamed of one day being in one. This is where Keanu Reeves trains for his john wick movies so I came here to start training for my first movie role.

"This is only day 1, was a super fun few hours in a safe professional environment. Keanu, gimme a call, mans ready👍🏾 big thanks to @tarantactical and your amazing team for the time and patience with me. Had the best day🙏🏾"

Phillip van Osten

Motor racing was a backdrop from the outset in Phillip van Osten's life. Born in Southern California, Phillip grew up with the sights and sounds of fast cars thanks to his father, Dick van Osten, an editor and writer for Auto Speed and Sport and Motor Trend. Phillip's passion for racing grew even more when his family moved to Europe and he became acquainted with the extraordinary world of Grand Prix racing. He was an early contributor to the monthly French F1i Magazine, often providing a historic or business perspective on Formula 1's affairs. In 2012, he co-authored along with fellow journalist Pierre Van Vliet the English-language adaptation of a limited edition book devoted to the great Belgian driver Jacky Ickx. He also authored "The American Legacy in Formula 1", a book which recounts the trials and tribulations of American drivers in Grand Prix racing. Phillip is also a commentator for Belgian broadcaster Be.TV for the US Indycar series.
