Pierre Gasly enjoyed a good run in the points in Barcelona on Sunday, but the AlphaTauri driver had a nasty surprise when he returned home to Normandy later in the day.
Gasly discovered his house had been ransacked while he was away racing in Spain, the perpetrators stealing many of the 24-year-old's personal items including his collection of race helmets.
"Some people really are without values, disrespectful and despicable," Gasly wrote on Instagram.
“My house in Normandy has been burgled and ransacked, had BRM watches engraved in my name stolen. Tag Heuer (watches) jewels, clothes, glasses, racing helmets.
"Please contact me if you have/see or hear any information."
While the watches and various items may be easily pawned off, Gasly's helmets could eventually pop up on a memorabilia or auction site somewhere.
So keep your eyes open peeps!
