Lewis Hamilton has a genuine shot at winning a seventh world title in Turkey and equaling the historic record of Michael Schumacher, but what will the Mercedes driver need to do to achieve that feat?
Ahead of Sunday's race, Hamilton holds and 85-point lead over teammate Valtteri Bottas, the only man who can still mathematically deny the Briton his seventh coronation.
But the Finn will need to pull out the stops and outscore Hamilton by 8 points to carry his hopes forward.
A 94th career win for Hamilton at Istanbul Park would seal the crown, regardless of where Bottas ends up. But a runner-up spot would also allow the Briton to break out the champagne, as long as Bottas doesn't win and snatch an extra point for fastest lap.
The odds are theoretically stacked in favour of Hamilton clinching the title in Turkey, but given the prospect of rain and a wild race this afternoon, anything goes!
As a reminder, Mercedes secured a consecutive seventh title in the Constructors' championship thanks to the team's 1-2 finish at Imola.
