Mercedes has released a clip of its 2016 car - the W07 - on track during a filming day at Silverstone.

The new car is being driven by both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton during the filming day, which acts as a shakedown ahead of the start of testing on Monday. While the team will officially launch the W07 in the pit lane ahead of the first day of running in Barcelona, it has released a clip of the car on the pit straight at Silverstone.

Mercedes has previously released a video of its power unit firing up, showing its exhaust layout for the coming season. This year's power units are estimated to be 12% louder as a result of the exhaust changes.

Each team is allowed two filming days per year which must be used for promotional purposes. The current car is allowed to run up to a maximum of 100km on the day, which takes place on Pirelli tyres specific to the event.
