Williams completes presentation season with FW44 launch date

Williams Racing will reveal its 2022 contender in an online event scheduled for February 15 at 13:00 GMT that fans will be able to view on the team's website.

The Grove-based outfit's all-new car – the FW44 – once again takes its initials from the team's founder, Sir Frank Williams who passed away last November.

The British squad which is now owned by US private equity firm Dorilton Capital will field Nicholas Latifi and new recruit Alex Albon who replaces Mercedes-bound George Russell

The Canadian, who scored seven points last year, will embark on his third season in F1 with Williams while Albon returns to the grid after a year on the sidelines with Red Bull.

Williams' launch date of its FW44 completes Formula 1's presentations schedule which kicked off last week with Haas.

Red Bull Racing is next in line on Wednesday to reveal its 2022 car while Aston Martin and McLaren will unveil their designs on Thursday and Friday of this week.

On February 23, F1 teams will assemble at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona for three days of testing before moving to Bahrain for another three test sessions that will take place from March 10-12.

Formula 1's 2022 season will kick off a week later at Sakhir on March 20.
