The FIA revealed on Monday at a meeting of the F1 Commission the results of its investigation into last December's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but the governing will reveal the "structural changes" it intends to make only in a few days.
FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem met in London with F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali and the bosses of all ten teams.
However, while it tabled the findings of its comprehensive report, the FIA wishes to incorporate into its final communication the feedback received by the F1 Commission following today's meeting.
"The FIA President led detailed discussions of the 2021 FIA Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix," read a statement from the governing body released on Monday afternoon.
"Feedback from the Commission on matters raised will be incorporated into the President's analysis and he will publicly present news of structural changes and action plan in the coming days."
The FIA offered no insight into its report or any hints about the fate of current F1 race director Michael Masi following his handling of events at Yas Marina during F1's title decider.
But its anticipated that Masi could retain his role as race director withing a revised operational structure that would lighten the burden of the Aussie's responsibilities.
