The FIA has ordered representatives of Red Bull, Aston Martin and Williams to be present at Haas’ US GP right of review hearing that will take place at a virtual meeting scheduled for this Wednesday.
Last week, Haas lodged a petition with the FIA to obtain a right of review over alleged track limit breaches that occurred during the US GP at Austin.
Haas alleges that track limitations at the Circuit of the Americas were abused in the race at Turn 6 without the stewards taking any action on the infringements.
However, the stewards recognized that the position of the CCTV cameras monitoring the action at the corner did not provide a clear view of the latter.
Therefore, evidence of potential transgressions was not sufficiently conclusive, which decided the stewards to drop monitoring at Turn 6 altogether.
But Haas believes that it is in possession of such evidence – onboard footage – which allegedly shows repeated breaches of track limits by several drivers that went unpunished. This is the basis of the US outfit’s right of review.
Specifically, the US outfit contends that Sergio Perez, Alex Albon, Logan Sargeant and Lance Stroll all repeatedly exceed track limits at the Circuit of the Americas Turn 6 during the race.

The FIA has therefore summoned to Wednesday’s proceedings representatives of the above drivers’ teams.
The hearing’s first order of business will be for the stewards who were on duty in Austin to determine whether the information presented by Haas qualifies as "significant and relevant new evidence" in line with the FIA’s statutes.
If so, an investigation into the Haas team’s claims will follow, opening up the possibility for the stewards to sanction competitors and to modify the event’s official classification.
As a reminder, Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg finished the US GP in 11th position, just behind Albon and Sargeant. Penalties eventually applied to the latter would directly benefit the German driver and of course Haas.
