Visa Cash App RB – or VCARB as we’ll call it – pulled the covers off its 2024 car on Thursday night in Las Vegas in an event in which the rebranded Re Bull squad revealed its new look.

The blue, black, and white VCARB 01 boasts significant sponsorship from new partners Visa and Cash App, reflecting the Faenza-based outfit’s ambition and its growing appeal.

But the most intriguing aspect lies beneath the striking livery: closer collaboration with sister team Red Bull.

After years of flirting with Red Bull concepts, the VCARB 01 fully embraces its sibling's successful design philosophy.

The most noticeable change lies in the sidepods and inlets. But under the skin, after utilizing Red Bull's rear suspension in the latter part of last season, VCARB has now also adopted the RB19's pull-rod front suspension layout.

After a seismic shift during the winter break that saw former team principal Franz Tost cede his leadership baton to former Ferrari sporting director Laurent Mekies, VCARB’s aspirations are high.

Backed by Red Bull's resources, the team overseen by CEO Peter Bayer hopes to significantly improve on its eighth-place finish in the 2023 constructors' championship.

The experienced duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda remains at the wheel, aiming to capitalize on the upgraded VCARB 01 and propel the team forward. Waiting in the wings, Red Bull reserve Liam Lawson will be once again ready to step in at short notice if necessary.

With a fresh identity, renewed ambition, and a strategic partnership with Red Bull, VCARB enters the season poised for a breakthrough.

The VCARB 01, a symbol of this transformation, stands as a testament to the team's determination to climb the F1 ladder and challenge the established order.
