Nico Rosberg has formally invited Sebastian Vettel to join the Mercedes debrief in Malaysia after the Ferrari driver mocked him after the Australian Grand Prix.
Vettel took exception to one of Rosberg’s answers in the post-race press conference, with the Mercedes driver having said he wants to see Ferrari close the gap. Vettel then suggested that he should be allowed to come to a Mercedes engineering meeting ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Rosberg has now taken to Twitter to announce he has cleared the idea with team bosses Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe, and extends an “official invitation” to the four-time world champion to join Mercedes at Sepang.
