Is Red Bull Formula 1 ace Daniel Ricciardo turning his training regimen into an off-season series?

The 2017 season will see the introduction of faster and more physically demanding cars fitted with wider tyres and generating more downforce.

As a result, all drivers have been busy sweating it out over the winter to be in top shape when the cars roll out in Barcelona for the start of pre-season testing on February 27.

In the digital age we live in, F1 pilots have also made sure to document their exploits over social media.

After sharing a first video, Ricciardo has revealed further snippets of his fitness programme in Los Angeles, California, which ranges from weightlifting to boxing on a Santa Monica beach.

The ever-smiling Australian did not forget to include a corporate trip to Red Bull’s teamwear sponsor Puma. Solid PR effort Daniel!
