Red Bull's Helmut Marko disagrees with Jos Verstappen on whether or not his son Max is ready to aim for a world title in 2017.
Verstappen Snr believes it's still too early for his 19-year-old boy to contemplate such an accomplishment, but Marko begs to differ.
"Now with a year's more experience, I think both of our drivers can fight for the title," Marko said.
"Now he enters his third year, it is actually a strength. Other drivers now know they have to watch out when Max is coming. The risks are getting smaller."
Red Bull's motorsport boss insisted however that as good as Verstappen has proven to be, there is still a huge force to reckoned with on the other side of the garage.
"We must remember Daniel. He is a very fast and competitive racing driver!"
