Treacherous weather conditions at Austin had been the major talking point in the build up towards this year’s United States Grand Prix. Although it did not rain at all during the race, winning a third world title earned Lewis Hamilton a champagne shower from his Mercedes team. It’s fair to assume the Briton did not mind getting soaked this time around.
