In a stunning tribute at Goodwood last weekend, three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti led a parade of over 30 cars honoring the career of the great Jim Clark.
Franchitti was at the wheel of Clark’s iconic Lotus 38 – victorious at Indy with the Scot during the latter’s banner 1965 season – but the array of machines showcased the legendary driver’s versatility, as it featured his Lotus 25, Ford Cortinas from his touring car triumphs, a 1967 Lotus 45 (steered on the day by Damon Hill) and many other classic Clark cars.
The spectacular field entertained a delighted crowd, eager to witness and reflect on a legacy celebrating one of the greatest drivers in motorsport history.
