The last Frenchman to race for Ferrari

Jules Bianchi appeared set to race for Ferrari at some stage in his career, and it has been over 20 years since a Frenchman last raced for the team. Jean Alesi's final season for Ferrari in 1995 saw him take his only F1 victory in Canada. Here he is pictured heading for fifth place in what would be his final finish for the team in the Pacific Grand Prix. Since Alesi, Ferrari has had two Germans, two Italians, two Brazilians, two Finns, one Briton and one Spaniard race for the team.
