Kimi Raikkonen’s 250th race start in Formula One did not have the conclusion the Finn was hoping for but the 2007 world champion will be pleased and relieved to walk unscathed from the heavy shunt he had on the main straight at the second re-start.

Having aquaplaned off track, Raikkonen hit the outside wall and bounced back across unsighted as the cars behind shot past the spinning Ferrari. Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg did collect some debris, while Manor’s Esteban Ocon came very close to hit Raikkonen, but luckily no one was hurt.
