F1i's driver ratings for the Chinese GP

Valtteri Bottas (sixth / 8 pts) : 7/10

Knocked off the front row for less than six one hundredths, the Finn should have joined Hamilton and Vettel on the podium. But an unexplainable error behind the safety car, when he spun trying to get heat into the tyres had him 12th at the re-start. Valtteri had to make up the lost time. He came up a few laps short to contest Red Bull and Räikkönen for the third step on the podium. At one moment his engineer mistakenly called him Nico! Old habits persist at Mercedes...
