Max Verstappen (third / 15 pts) : 10/10
The overwhelming driver of the day, the Flying Dutchman came back from very far away after finding himself with just four cylinders in Q1. At the end of lap one, he had already picked up nine places, slaloming through the melee with disconcerting ease. Second for a long spell when Vettel changed tyres, after leaving Ricciardo in his wake, Max was bothered by Grosjean, who was creating turbulence in the final laps, but it wasn’t enough to get in his way of taking his first podium result of 2017. Phenomenal!
