Robert Kubica (P20): 4/10
It's not really getting any better for Bobby K, is it? That he was a second or more off the pace of his Williams team mate George Russell in FP1 and FP2 on a circuit as short as the Red Bull Ring is a real jaw dropper. Even though he closed the gap on Saturday, there's really just no excuse for that sort of disparity between team mates in the same car, no matter the FW42's deficiencies. Kubica then had the upper hand of starting the race itself from the lofty heights of 17th place while Russell was consigned to the pit lane; and yet Kubica was soon trailing around at the back of the field again having quickly been passed by Russell. There's just no positive spin to put on a weekend like this, although at least someone had a sense of humour by gaming the F1 Driver of the Day vote to have Kubica come out on top!
