Yuki Tsunoda, Racing Bulls (P12): 7/10
A completely undeserved result for Tsunoda, as a single strategic mistake cost him a huge haul of points for himself and Racing Bulls. A sensational qualifying lap saw the Japanese driver start the race in fifth place. Though he lost the position to a fast-starting Leclerc, he regained it with a beautiful overtake on the Ferrari driver in the second half of the race. But like the Ferraris, Tsunoda stayed out on Dry tyres for too long and fell out of a points-paying position as a result, where he remained until the end.
Pierre Gasly, Alpine (P11): 7/10
A similarly unfortunate chain of events for Gasly, although for the Frenchman it was more of his own doing. He looked set to score a few points with just a handful of laps to go, but a slight mistake on lap 54 through Turn 2 saw him fall out of the top 10. A real shame, especially considering he lumbered his Alpine into Q3 the previous day.
