Kevin Magnussen - DNF - 6/10
After a good qualifying performance to reach Q2 and start from 14th, Magnussen’s hard work was undone at Turn 1 when he hit the rear of Gutierrez. The sudden deceleration meant Kvyat then similarly ran into the back of the Renault, with the collisions damaging both the front wing and the rear of Magnussen’s car which was retired on lap 17 due to rising brake temperatures.
