Still room for the Williams to improve - Bottas

Williams driver Valterri Bottas has enjoyed some strong runs since the beginning of the season often racing on a level par with Ferrari behind the untouchable Mercedes Silver Arrows. This weekend the Finn will be looking to improve on the Scuderia while keeping Red Bull's drivers at bay.

“We are definitely looking to beat Red Bull here. In Spain we were not far off Ferrari in qualifying or the race, so if we can make a small step forward, we should be pretty close. I can't say we are going to beat Red Bull, but we will do the best we can to do it.”

While the Williams FW37 has proved to a consistent all round contender this year, Bottas considers there are still weaknesses which need to be addressed.

"I think we're still missing downforce, but for some reason in slow and medium speed corners we are also not so competitive. So it's not only the aero, it's also mechanical and we need to improve everything if we want to win races. This track should suit us well, and I think we'll be strong at Silverstone also."
