McLaren is getting more track time with the Honda power unit as part of a filming day ahead of the second pre-season test.

The team endured a tough start to 2015 with just 79 laps possible across the opening four days at Jerez as the new Honda-powered MP4-30 hit the track for the first time. While confident improvements would be made in time for the second test at Barcelona, racing director Eric Boullier was also wary of the impact of the low mileage.

With the next pre-season test set to get underway on Thursday, McLaren is already at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona running the MP4-30 as part of a filming day on Monday, with Jenson Button at the wheel.

Teams are allowed two such days running a current car each year - known as promotional events - during which they are limited to a maximum of 100km per day.
