Jacques Villeneuve's views are anything but relevant but they are often entertaining, and now the 1997 world champion gives us his two cents on Red Bull's drivers.
Predictably, Max Verstappen doesn't get the Canadian pundit's vote, the Dutchman criticized for his propensity to error.
"Verstappen makes mistakes in every race. It happens all the time," Villeneuve told Sky Italia.
"It's a bad sign. For example, Ricciardo was not at all to blame for their crash in Baku. He did nothing wrong."
In the former drivers' book, Ricciardo is judged as the better driver at Red Bull Racing, hands down
"If a driver is constantly making mistakes, he must calm down and slow down. But to be at Ricciardo's level, he has to take more risks," adds the 11-time Grand Prix winner.
"It can only mean one thing: Max is not as good as Daniel. Full stop!"
