Webber feeling 'a bit nervous' about Kubica's return

Former F1 driver Mark Webber feels a bit uneasy about Robert Kubica's return to the grid, the Aussie hoping the Williams driver doesn't get frustrated with himself in specific circumstances.

When he'll line up on the grid in Melbourne on March 17, Kubica will have completed a sensational comeback that few believed in just 12 months ago.

Extensive testing mileage and countless hours of simulator work convinced Williams to provide the Pole with a second chance eight years after his F1 career was abruptly halted in a rally accident in 2011.

"I'm a bit nervous about Robert Kubica," Webber told WTF1.com.

"I just hope he does not get too frustrated with the limited freedom of movement of his right arm. In some situations, such as on wet track, aquaplaning or riding over the curbs, it could be difficult."

While Webber may still have a few reservations about Kubica's physical ability, the nine-time Grand Prix winner has no doubts about the Pole's motivation and mental strength.

"As for the mental, there are no doubts at all," he added.

"Robert is in great shape and eager to prove himself. That is also the most important thing, he does not have to prove it to anyone other than himself.

"But there are some unanswered questions in that regard."
