Follow live coverage of the second free practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix from Interlagos with F1i.
Lewis Hamilton set the pace in the morning session, putting an eventful week behind him to top the times by half a second from team-mate Nico Rosberg. Once again Sebastian Vettel was the main challenger as Ferrari made a strong start, with Daniel Ricciardo fourth as he tests the updated Renault power unit in his Red Bull.
FP1 took place in hot and sunny conditions, leading to high track temperatures which impacted on tyre wear, with a number of drivers complaining their tyres were losing performance rapidly with each lap.
The afternoon session is set to be a busy affair with a threat of rain around and light spots falling in the paddock in the half an hour before FP2 gets underway. However, teams are likely to carry out some running in the wet if rain does fall, with an unsettled forecast for Saturday afternoon potentially impacting on qualifying.
You can follow all the live coverage on F1i's live page, which can be bookmarked as it will provide commentary on every session of the 2015 F1 season.
