Day 2 of Bahrain's in-season test has kicked off, with dry weather fortunately prevailing at Sakhir.

Teams have resumed their various programmes, with several young drivers entrusted with the running.

After almost stealing the show yesterday with Ferrari, Mick Schumacher continues his apprenticeship today, but with Alfa Romeo.

Dan Ticktum gets his first taste of Formula 1 - finally - with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.

British hopeful Jack Aitken takes over from Daniel Ricciardo at Renault, while Pietro Fittipaldi will enjoy another half day of testing with Haas.

Finally, Nicholas Latifi - last weekend's F2 winner - will be driving for Williams.

Among the big gun teams, George Russell will likely be delighted to get his hands on a competitive car, the young Brit running today with Mercedes. And Sebastian Vettel will try to put his mind off last Sunday's blunder with a full day of work with Ferrari.
