Max Verstappen will guest appear in this week's Supercars All Stars Eseries, the Dutchman set to race a Red Bull liveried Holden Commodore in the second round of the Aussie virtual series.
Verstappen was offered a wildcard to get involved in the four online battles that will take place at the Silverstone and Barcelona venues on Wednesday.
"I’m looking forward to the race," said the avid sim racer and eight-time Grand Prix winner.
"It’s going to be a challenge as it’s not a car I’ve driven a lot on the sim, but they are pretty cool to watch in real life.
"We always race with Supercars in Melbourne so it’s going to be interesting to see how I get on against all the regular drivers.
"I’ve tried the Supercar now a few times on iRacing and it’s a very tricky car to get right. I’m looking forward to racing alongside my mate Shane, or Pastor, as I call him – he’s a top shunter on the sim!
"We race online a lot together so hopefully we can do well for Red Bull and it should be a bit of fun racing against the other V8 drivers as well."

Verstappen has multiplied his presence online since the world went into lockdown, mainly racing in Team Redline's Esports 'Real Racers Never Quit' events.
However, the Dutchman announced recently that he would not be taking part in Formula 1's Virtual Grand Prix races, claiming he's not familiar with the sport's F1 2019 official game platform.
The second Eseries round kicks off at 10am UK time (11am CET) on Wednesday.
The action will be broadcast on Fox Sports, Kayo, Supercars.com and social channels, and game streaming service Twitch.
And here are a few words from Max on his upcoming Supercars sim gig.
