Ferrari's technical department in Maranello has undergone another restructuring, with key staff members assigned new responsibilities within the Scuderia's chassis unit.
Ferrari heads into the 2021 season determined to haul itself up the pecking order after a miserable campaign in 2020 that left the Italian outfit a lowly sixth in the Constructors' standings.
As it seeks to improve its performance and efficiency, the Scuderia - which adjusted its tech department last summer - has overhauled an organizational structure over which team boss Mattia Binotto retains an oversight.

But following Simone Resta's deployment to Haas, Enrico Cardile has been put in charge of Ferrari's chassis design while also overseeing race track engineering on race weekend.
The Italian engineer will work alongside Enrico Gualtieri, the head of the Scuderia's power unit department, sporting director Laurent Mekies and supply chain head Gianmaria Fulgenzi.
In a bid to improve development efficiency, Ferrari's chassis department has been split up into four new units: vehicle concept (headed by David Sanchez), chassis performance engineering (Enrico Cardile), chassis project engineering (Fabio Montecchi) and vehicle operations (Diego Ioverno).
The F1 outfit's commercial department has also been revamped, with Nicola Boari now in charge of marketing, events and brand diversification.
Finally, Binotto is expected to skip several race weekends this year once again and remain working in Maranello.
Ferrari is scheduled to present its 2021 team on Friday while its new 2021 SF21 shall be unveiled next month.
