Live timing and coverage: Pre-season testing day two

Follow live coverage of day two the first pre-season test from Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with F1i.

The opening day saw Sebastian Vettel set the pace for Ferrari declare himself happy with what was a "very positive" start to testing as the team looks to challenge Mercedes. However, Lewis Hamilton's lap total of 156 laps on day one - comfortably over two race distances - was another eye-catching statistic.

Hamilton called it the best day of pre-season testing he has ever had, and Nico Rosberg will take over on Tuesday to turn his first laps in anger in the W07. Vettel stays on in the Ferrari, while Daniel Ricciardo - third fastest on Monday - will also remain in the Red Bull.

Fernando Alonso will drive the new McLaren for the first time and will surely be encouraged by the team's lap total on Monday, with Jenson Button completing five laps more than McLaren managed across the whole four days of the opening test last year.

You can follow live coverage of both pre-season tests - including live timing - on F1i's live page here, while there are also galleries of all of the new cars.

Running will take place from 0900-1300 and 1400-1800 every day throughout the two tests, with the first taking place from February 22-25 and the second being held from March 1-4.
