Ferrari junior Robert Shwartzman will enjoy a busy two days in Abu Dhabi next week, the F2 charge dovetailing an F1 rookie commitment with Haas and a day of testing with the Scuderia.
The two day test that will kick off on Tuesday will see F1 teams entrust a 2021-spec car to their chosen rookie on one day while also running a 18-inch wheel mule car for the benefit of tyre manufacturer Pirelli.
Shwartzman will therefore drive on day one with Haas and switch to Ferrari on day two, splitting driving duties with the Italian outfit's sim driver Antonio Fuoco.
"I am extremely happy to do another test with Scuderia Ferrari," said the 22-year-old Russian.
"It’s an honour to be able to drive this F1 car but also a big responsibility and I am therefore extremely grateful for the trust Ferrari has put in me.
"I will certainly try to enjoy it as much as possible while aiming to do a good job of acquiring data for the team."
Ahead of the final rounds of the FIA Formula 2 Championship that will take place next weekend in Abu Dhabi, Shwartzman sits currently second in the standings, 51.5 points behind series leader Oscar Piastri.
