Renault will unveil its race livery for the 2016 F1 season on March 16 in Melbourne.

The returning constructor launched a test livery during an event in Paris at the start of February, with the car going on to run throughout the two pre-season tests in a predominantly black livery with some yellow. Renault confirmed at the time that it would be changing the livery before the start of the new season.

With the first race taking place in Australia on March 20, Renault will launch its definitive race livery on the Wednesday evening ahead of the race at an event in Melbourne.

Renault enjoyed a relatively strong pre-season, with its new car - the RS16 - completing nearly 800 laps. However, its mileage was heavily weighted towards former McLaren driver Kevin Magnussen, with rookie Jolyon Palmer suffering a number of reliability issues throughout his four days in the car.

Magnussen believes Renault is close to the top ten with its new car, targeting points as a good result from the first race.
