Renault Sport Formula One Team test driver Nicholas Latifi is set to drive the V8-powered Lotus E20 during demonstration runs, as part of this weekend’s round of the Renault Sport Series held at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Canadian will get several outings aboard the 2012-spec machine that Kimi Raikkonen took to victory at that year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This will be Latifi’s second taste of the E20 after the 21-year-old made his Renault test debut with the car at Silverstone earlier this year.

Contesting this year’s GP2 Series alongside Williams development racer Alex Lynn at DAMS, Latifi currently lies 17th in the official feeder series to Formula One with one podium finish to his name in the season-opening round in Barcelona.

Latifi is not the only high-profile Renault guest set to feature at the Belgian Grand Prix venue. Former grand prix winner Robert Kubica has also been invited by the French manufacturer to compete in the one-make Renault Sport Trophy, where Renault ambassador Carmen Jorda has been racing this year.
