Usher, The Roots join Taylor Swift in USGP festivities

R&B star Usher will team up with neo-soul band The Roots to headline the post-race concert organised at next Sunday's United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Usher and The Roots thus join fellow American singer Taylor Swift as part of the festivities lined up for the fifth consecutive Formula One race held at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

Commenting upon the announcement, Bobby Epstein, the founder and CEO of COTA, said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Usher and the legendary Roots Crew to COTA.

“To add an act of this quality and acclaimed status further cements the growing reputation of the Formula One United States Grand Prix as the most fan-friendly and entertaining race weekend, both on and off the track.”

Swift’s concert at COTA on Saturday will be her only live performance of 2016.
