The 1984 Monaco Grand Prix immediately went down as classic when Jacky Ickx, then serving as clerk of the course, elected to red flag the rain-soaked event only moments after Ayrton Senna had grabbed the lead from Alain Prost. But behind the battling duo, another driver was on a mesmerising charge and could have well pulled out a stunning win had the Grand Prix been run on its full distance. Around the streets of Monte-Carlo, Stefan Bellof was simply driving the wheels off his normally-aspirated Tyrrell, which proved very nimble indeed in wet conditions.
