This weekend’s WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps offered an emotional sighting as Porsche works driver Timo Bernhard elected to pay homage to the great Stefan Bellof, who died 30 years ago during the 1000km of Spa, by sporting the late champion’s helmet design. Lining up on pole, Bernhard went on to claim a podium finish with his crew-mates Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley on the #17 Porsche 919 Hybrid.
