Red Bull trolls F1 rivals with Xmas card

©Red Bull Racing/Twitter

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has poked fun at his Formula One rivals in his 2016 Christmas Card. The image shows Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen racing side-by-side with a Mercedes and a Ferrari in hot pursuit.

A pair of ‘How’s my driving’ signs can be read on the rear wing of both RB12s. Should there be any complaints then Red Bull advises to call either Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff or FIA race director Charlie Whiting in clear reference to a couple of incidents that occurred this year.

Wolff revealed at the Brazilian Grand Prix that he gave Verstappen’s father Jos a ring to warn him about the danger of his son potentially interfering in the title fight between his drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

At the previous round in Mexico, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel got very hot under the collar while racing Verstappen and went as far as telling Whiting to “f*ck off!”.

Hate it or love it, but Horner’s repartee hits the bull’s eye.
