FA: “It would feel terrible!”

CS: “It would feel great!”

Differing views when Carlos Sainz is asked how it would feel to beat Fernando Alonso in Barcelona. He did.

“We are so far on the back foot with reliability anyway that, to be honest, this year is pretty much a write-off. You just have to go for it, even if they end up using 20 engines.”

Christian Horner seems to have a pretty big engine budget…

“I want what Fernando had for breakfast this morning!”

Jenson Button was (rightly) not as confident about scoring points in Spain as team-mate Fernando Alonso

“First of all, apologies, it comes with a red suit, those two guys, they haven’t asked me a single question in the last four years!”

Vettel jokes with Hamilton and Nico Rosberg having been asked four questions in a row in the post-qualifying press conference before anyone addressed the two drivers on the front row

“You all get to see me grumpy.”

Daniel Ricciardo wasn’t smiling so much after qualifying tenth

“Romain, if you don't do that you'll blow the engine up.”

Romain Grosjean is told in no uncertain terms how bad his gearbox issue is

“I certainly owe them some beers!”

Grosjean believes a few pints of Estrella is the way to make up for hitting a few members of his crew during a pit stop

“The girls!”

Lewis Hamilton when asked what he is particularly looking forward to in Monaco

“He stole my answer, there.”

Sebastian Vettel agrees
