We’ve seen more inspired drives from Kimi. With a couple of mediocre laps in qualifying, including contact with the wall, he wasn’t on pace with Hamilton or Vettel. The Ice Man had too much wheel spin when the lights went, again missing the chance to make up ground early on, he didn’t get the most, in contrast to his team mate, of the two-stop strategy. He had to nurse his car with failing brakes to the finish.
