Edged yet again in Q3 by Verstappen who would have also certainly run ahead of him in the race, Daniel knew that on soft tyres, his Sunday pace wasn’t great. Constantly being pressured, the Aussie spent his Grand Prix with one eye peered in his rear views where he found the Ferraris and Force Indias with better rubber. But in the end he crossed the line to take his third podium on the bounce.
