Another fine points haul for the Mexican who was close to scoring his eighth career podium. Having changed tyres much earlier than Ocon, he was ahead of his team mate as both followed the lone Red Bull still in action. Is it really a surprise that he refused to let his team-mate by to attack Ricciardo? Have you ever seen an F1 driver with his character just open the door? That is not in Checo’s DNA.
