Mad Max was back at Monza! He had nothing for the Ferraris and Mercedes’ in qualifying. He did though get around Bottas and hold him at bay until his stop. But then he pushed the Finn wide and made contact at the first chicane. The five-second penalty was a surprise to no one, except to Verstappen. He didn’t take the news well and his charge with the Mercedes man let Vettel catch up and then move past him for fourth.
