Lewis Hamilton (P4, 12 pts): 7.5/10
Lewis Hamilton bounced into Singapore with the sort of confidence that comes with knowing that a circuit is tailor made for him and for the Mercedes W10. But that smile was soon knocked off the faces of all at the Silver Arrows compound when it began to dawn that Ferrari's latest package of upgrades had given them a quantum leap over their rivals. After that it was heads down and furrowed brows for everyone in the garage as they tried to find a way to get back on an even footing. Unfortunately as a result the team ended up tripping over their own feet in the race, and the decision to keep Hamilton out when Charles Leclerc pitted seriously compromised the championship leader's race. It even required a helping hand from team mate Valtteri Bottas to partially recover from. Even before this Hamilton never looked like he had the pace to take the battle to the Ferraris this weekend, and he was also unable to get around Max Verstappen in the closing laps on Sunday night. It's becoming increasingly apparent that we're seeing a real shift in the balance of power in F1.
