Jolyon Palmer - 13th place - 6.5/10
Palmer was much happier with his car after having the floor changed on Friday night, but he will rue missed opportunities in the race. Starting alongside team-mate Magnussen, Palmer made the same progress at the start and was running in 10th by the end of lap 13, just one place behind the lead Renault. After the pit stop his race unravelled, though he wasn’t helped by being forced off track via light contact from Sainz, but he went backwards as Magnussen moved forwards to score.
