According to British Grand Prix organisers, provisional tickets sales estimated at 95 percent point to a record-breaking crowd flocking to Silverstone in early July.
A series of pricing schemes by the event's promoters destined to encourage spectator attendance has clearly been met with strong success, while increased capacity available at popular viewing points such as Club and Becketts corners has also helped draw in a crowd currently evaluated at 150.000.
"Thanks to recent pricing initiatives and opening up the event to make it more affordable for families we are now almost full," explained Silverstone managing director Patrick Allen. "Demand has been tremendous and we are 95 per cent sold and predicting that 2015 will be a record breaking crowd."
Current success of Formula 1 championship leader Lewis Hamilton has assuredly also been a good catalyst for ticket sales, while crowds will hopefully also direct their British fervor towards Jenson Button. The race is scheduled from July 3 to 5.
