Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix was in large part about… the day before, and the stark reminder it provided about motorsport's dangers.

To mildly brighten the somber mood that imbued the paddock on race day, a special something was required. And Charles Leclerc gave us the semblance of a remedy to the sadness and grief.

The Monegasque won for himself, for Ferrari, for his father Hervé and mentor Jules Bianchi. But first and foremost, he triumphed for his childhood friend, Anthoine Hubert.
