Arrivabene disappointed to miss out on one-two

Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene was left "really disappointed" to miss out on a one-two in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen both made spectacular starts to run first and second respectively at the start of the race, and duly pulled away from Nico Rosberg's Mercedes. However, with both enjoying a comfortable advantage, Raikkonen was then hit with an MGU-K failure.

Nico Hulkenberg's front wing failure saw the Safety Car deployed and Raikkonen quickly fell back through the field before having to retire the car. While unhappy with the reliability issue, Arrivabene praised Raikkonen's performance.

"I’m really disappointed because, to be honest, Kimi was really good today," Arrivabene said. "Both of them were, especially at the start. This is Formula One and sometimes these things happen. Sometimes you win because the other team scores an own goal, but it’s part of the game. We have to accept this.

"Again, congratulations to Kimi for what he did today, but unfortunately something happened and we didn’t have the double. It will be a good occasion to have it in the future, so it’s another challenge."
