Hungaroring Speed Trap: who is the fastest of them all?

Balance overrules top speed when it comes to the Hungaroring and its notoriously twisty layout, but drivers aren't exactly cruising down the track's main straight.

Sebastian Vettel clocked through the speed trap in Saturday's qualifying session at 315.6 km/h and he was predictably followed by three other Ferrari-powered cars driven by teammate Charles Leclerc and Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen.

Vettel and Leclerc's top speed may come in handy this afternoon as one will note that the man who set the pace in qualifying, Max Verstappen, was among the "laggards" on the main straight, almost 10 km/h down on the Scuderia's chargers.

If Max enjoys a good launch off the grid, which wasn't the case last weekend in Germany, can he outpace his rivals in the corners enough to keep them at bay on the straight?

One can count on the Dutchman to defend his lead as a lion defends its feast!
